Liz Vanden Heuvel
Liz joined Cloverleaf in 2006 and is responsible for the daily administrative function of the company. Liz is a certified paralegal, has a bachelor’s degree in Business from Northern Illinois University and has over 40 years of experience in the legal and real estate fields.
Gergana Popova
Gergana joined Cloverleaf in 2024. She is a CPA with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Loyola University Chicago. Gergana has over a decade of experience in public accounting, providing outsourced accounting services for small businesses in a broad range of industries. She is responsible for all accounting functions and activities for the company and its properties and funds.
Joy C. Parker
Joy joined Cloverleaf in 2006 and is responsible for various property management and administrative functions.
Ruth A. Moschel
Ruth is responsible for all accounting functions and activities for the company and its properties and funds. Ruth is a CPA and has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois and has over 35 years of experience in real estate and small business accounting.
Dylan Mahon
Dylan joined Cloverleaf in 2021. His responsibilities include leasing and acquisitions. He is a 2022 graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.

Patricia Flynn
Patricia joined Cloverleaf in 2022 and brings over 20 years of experience. She is responsible for accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and month-end work, and generally assisting Cloverleaf’s Controller.
Ross Cosyns
Ross joined Cloverleaf in 2017. His responsibilities include leasing, property budgeting, construction oversight and assisting with acquisitions and dispositions. He is a 2006 graduate of Miami University in Ohio and he has an MBA from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of business.
Michael S. Basofin
A practicing attorney until 1982, when he founded Cloverleaf, Michael Basofin brings his broad experience in the areas of real estate law, general corporate law, and business litigation to his role at Cloverleaf. He graduated from the Miami University in Ohio in 1967 and Loyola University School of Law in 1970. He has been President of Cloverleaf companies since 1982.
Jonathan E. Basofin
Jonathan began working with Cloverleaf in 2009 and participates in all areas of the company’s operations and management. He is a 2001 graduate of Emory University and a 2011 graduate of the Chicago-Kent College of Law. Prior to attending law school, Jonathan spent seven years working for two national law firms as a corporate and real estate paralegal, while playing the drums in and helping manage the business affairs of a professional recording and touring group.
